3. Booking and Payments

To book our services, you must provide accurate information, including your full name, contact details, and the necessary details about your move. Pompano Beach Movers reserves the right to cancel or refuse any booking that contains inaccurate information.

  • Booking Confirmation: After placing a booking, you will receive a confirmation email. This email serves as an agreement between you and Pompano Beach Movers.
  • Payment Terms: We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and other secure payment systems. Full payment or a deposit may be required before services are rendered.
  • Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Refunds are processed in accordance with our refund policy.

4. Customer Responsibilities

As the customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding your move.
  • Ensure that all items are packed and ready for transport at the time of pick-up. If you request packing services, we will assist you with packing at an additional cost.
  • Ensure access to both the pick-up and drop-off locations, including parking, clear paths, and required permissions for moving services.
  • Secure valuable, hazardous, or perishable items and notify us if you have any special requirements for these items.
  • Notify us of any special items that require additional care or disassembly.

Pompano Beach Movers will not be held liable for damages to items that were not disclosed to us as requiring special handling.

5. Delivery and Service Times

We will make every effort to meet the estimated time for delivery. However, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to factors outside of our control, such as weather, road conditions, or other delays. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • General Liability: Pompano Beach Movers is committed to handling your belongings with care. However, we are not liable for damages to items unless caused by our negligence.
  • Insurance: We provide basic liability coverage for your items. If you want additional coverage, you must notify us in advance to arrange for moving insurance.
  • Exceptions: Pompano Beach Movers is not responsible for damage to items that are improperly packed, fragile, or have been explicitly excluded from transport (e.g., perishable goods, hazardous materials, or cash).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pompano Beach Movers, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of our services.

8. Prohibited Items

The following items cannot be moved by Pompano Beach Movers:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, corrosive)
  • Perishable items (food, plants)
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives
  • Cash, jewelry, important documents

If you attempt to include prohibited items in your move, Pompano Beach Movers reserves the right to refuse service without refund.

10. Force Majeure

Pompano Beach Movers will not be held liable for failure to perform any of its obligations if such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, labor strikes, or transportation delays.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Pompano Beach Movers be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or lost profits. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services.
